Fairytale wedding

A wedding ceremony at Ahrensburg Castle is an unforgettable experience. Just like in a fairy tale, the white castle stands in the heart of the vast park, surrounded by water and ancient trees. It is a truly special place to say ‘I do’ – the historic surroundings, the beautiful rooms and the castle grounds provide a romantic backdrop and are the ideal setting for exceptional wedding photographs.

Several rooms are available for civil wedding ceremonies and offer the perfect ambience for the happiest day of your life.

The rooms can be viewed at weekends during the palace’s opening hours.

Please arrange dates for civil wedding ceremonies exclusively with the Registry Office in Ahrensburg: Telephone 04102 – 77254, or 77255, 77205, 77135

Non-religious wedding ceremonies

A civil wedding ceremony cannot always be made as personal and bespoke as the bride and groom would like – and a church wedding is not an option for every couple. Nevertheless, many couples wish for a personal and solemn ceremony that is tailored entirely to their wishes. An independent wedding ceremony offers this option. Here, the couple can celebrate and organise their wedding ceremony entirely according to their own wishes.
